Scholarship worth and benefits
The study and scholarship will last 42 months, with at least 6 of those months spent in Pisa, Italy.
During the stay in Macau, a monthly stipend of USD 1,000 will be paid, and during the stay in Pisa, a monthly stipend of USD 1,500 will be paid. Health insurance is offered at no cost to the student. During your stay in Macau, you will be accommodated for free (except for utility fees).
Eligibility
Candidates for the PhD slots must have a Master’s degree in ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another area with a substantial ICT component, as well as a strong academic record.

Instructions on how to apply
For the autumn 2023 semester, UNU-IIST is not accepting applications for admission to the double degree PhD Programme in ICT for Sustainable Development. For more information, please visit the official website in December of this year.
PhD Scholarships in Analytical Models for Learning Processes in FLOSS Communities are now open for early 2023 applications. No later than December 7, 2022, applicants must have received or plan to receive the appropriate Master’s degree. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is November 15, 2022.
