Description
The Victoria University of Wellington is currently giving out the Tongarewa Scholarship to celebrate the their commitment to their international student community. Eligible candidates are those who are either entering a postgraduate degree programme of entering their first year of an undergraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington.
Recipients must act as Ambassadors for Victoria University of Wellington and participate in marketing or appropriate events if requested.
This scholarship is being hosted by the Institution, Victoria University of Wellington.

They are up to 10 scholarships of 10,000 New Zealand Dollarsfor Bachelors and Masters degrees and up to 9 scholarships of 5,000 New Zealand Dollars for Masters degrees only.

Scholarship values and inclusions are the scholarships which range from 5,000 New Zealand Dollars to 10,000 New Zealand Dollars. This is a partial fee-based scholarship that would be paid on your tuition fees for a year of study.
Recipients of the Scholarship are promised an offer of a place in the Halls of Residence, given than an accommodation application is received by the Accommodation Service by the scholarship program deadline.

To apply for the scholarship, you must submit an online application before the deadline. The scholarship program application deadlines are on the 1st of June 2022 for Trimester 2, 2022, on the 1st of September 2022 for Trimester 3, 2022 and on the 30th of November, 2022 for Trimester 1, 2023. Applications will normally be open a month before to the closing date.
