Description
The Holland Scholarship, which is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, is specifically done for foreign students from outside European Economic Area (EEA). Foreign students who want to study for their bachelor’s or master’s at one of the Dutch universities or research universities of sciences in Holland.
Institutions that host this scholarship program are the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science
And also research universities and universities of applied sciences are participating in helping in the funding and are on the list of universities who are offering the scholarship program.

Scholarship Value Or Duration
The scholarship is funded with 5,000 euros. You have to note that this scholarship program is not a full-tuition scholarship. It is awarded for a year and can only be given to an international student once.
Eligibility
You will be eligible;
- If you are a non-EEA national.
- If you are applying for a master’s degree or full-time bachelor’s at one of the Dutch universities that are participating in the scholarship.
- If you meet the compulsory requirements of the institution of your choice. You can find these on the scholarship’s official website of the institutions which is found in the link below.
- If you have never studied at a Dutch educational institution before.
Application Instructions:
- You must apply for the application of the Holland Scholarship directly to one of the Universities participating in the scholarship program; a university of your choice.
- The deadline for the Scholarship program applications is on the 1st of May, 2022. The deadline may change so You are advised to check the website of the institution of your choice to know when the deadline would take place.
