Description
The Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship programme gives scholarships which is worth up to 10,000 euros to international students who hail from India, Vietnam, the United States of America and countries who are part of the European Union to study a full-time masters programme in Wales.
The scholarships are funded by the Global Wales Programme, which is a partnership between the Welsh Government, Universities Wales, HEFCW, and the British Council

• Cardiff Metropolitan University
• Swansea University
• University of South Wales
• University of Wales Trinity St David
• Wrexham Glyndwr University
You will be offered to study Full-time postgraduate at one of the Welsh universities (see above)

Scholarships are available in an unspecified number of areas.
Target Groups
Students from the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Belgium Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Lithuania.
And the rest of the World: USA, Canada, Vietnam, and India
Scholarship Value Or Inclusions
Each scholarship is worth up to 10,000 Euros which pays for the tuition fees for a year of a postgraduate masters programme. Any additional costs or expenses will be paid by the student.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Global Wales Postgraduate scholarships, you must:
- have submitted an application to study an eligible postgraduate programme at one of the Welsh universities (which is seen above).
- be due to start your postgraduate programme in September 2022;
- be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes; and
- be a citizen of one of the eligible countries (which is seen above).
Application Instructions
To be considered for the scholarships, you have to submit an application to study at your university. You must include your university application number in your scholarship program application. The scholarship application form must be submitted by May 31st, 2022 at 23.59 (PST) online for September 2022 entry.
