The Slovak Republic government is awarding scholarships to all eligible students of developing countries. And this scholarships are open to all international students who wants to pursue their higher educational studies in the Slovak Republic. In addition, the students can enroll on their Bachelor’s, Master’s, Postgraduate or Doctoral Degree programmes.
Government provides this scholarships as a long-term development strategy and cooperation of the Slovak Republic. And in this 2022, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic will implement bilateral development cooperation through the government scholarship programs.

Eligibility For The EU Slovak Government Scholarships for Developing Countries, 2022
- Students from developing countries can apply for this award.
- This government scholarship may be awarded to a national of a partnering country as defined in Subsection 2, who has firstly, a temporary residence for the purpose of studies. Secondly, a temporary residence as a third party national, granted Slovak Living Abroad status. And thirdly, the right to stay on the territory of the Slovak Republic for a period in excess of three months.
- A full-time public university student who is a participant in language education for the purposes of university studies.
- For a first-level or second-level academic program or the combination of the two, the applicant must be at least, 18 years of age and not more than 26 years. And secondly, the applicant must be at least, 23 years of age and not more than 35 years of age with respect to language education for studies of a third-level academic programme.
- Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language and other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

- The application mode is online. Complete the registration by filling the application form at the home page on Registration. When you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and a password which you need to log in to your account.
- Moreover, compulsory attachments must be added to the application. Also note that the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the SR will not accept any application without compulsory attachments. As a result, your application will be automatically disqualified from the nomination process.
