Canon Collins collaborates with a number of British universities, including the University of Sussex, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.

The Mandela Scholarship Support at the University of Sussex collaborates with the Trust to fund the annual prizes granted to successful applicants.

Similarly, the University of Edinburgh collaborates with the Canon Collins Trust to give scholarships to deserving candidates.

The MSc in African Studies, which is offered and financed, is the only course available for this award.

The Canon Collins Trust offers scholarships to African students who want to study in South Africa for a postgraduate degree (usually a one- or two-year Master’s degree).
